Overview
I picked up a dead junkyard e-scooter with no documentation to work from and got it back to a daily-use ride. I reverse-engineered the undocumented throttle/brake circuit down to the component level, then rewired the throttle input to the working brake circuit and built a pushbutton-driven fake voltage divider to replace the dead brake.

What I learned
- Reverse-engineered an undocumented throttle/brake circuit down to the component level (potentiometer voltage dividers into the console's ADC)
- Rewired the throttle input to the working brake circuit after the throttle failed
- Built a pushbutton-driven fake voltage divider as a functional brake replacement
